Welcome to NC Pagans Outdoors (NCPO).
We began back in 2001 with a dream and an idea.

The Dream: 
We wanted to find a way to get Pagans and likeminded people together for activities
and events out in the public without having to hide who we are and what we believe in.
The idea came to us as an epiphany. We looked at each other while driving around the back
roads of NC and it just came to us; or rather the Goddess tapped us on the shoulders.
My wife turned to me and said, “You know what I’d like to be able to do?” and I said,
“Start a Pagan Campout” and the rest is HER story.

The Idea:
So we started, led by the Goddess’ inspiration, a Pagan campout held in the heart of
North Carolina with workshops, drumming, fellowship and fun. Our first campout, Pagan
Wilderness Weekend, was held in August of 2002 and we have been blessed to be able to
continue this endeavor ever since.

The Reality:
Now the dream and the idea have come to fruition and the Goddess has blessed this path
every step of the way. NCPO now organizes and presents 3 Pagan themed campouts each year.
All of our events are Family Oriented, Child Friendly, Positive Path, Spiritual Gatherings.
Children are always welcome and encouraged at our events.

Our Mission:
NCPO promotes community and family wholeheartedly and we encourage this by holding true to
one mission: "Promoting Family Bonds within the Pagan Community"

Join Us:
Teresa and I strongly believe that, while we are the instrument that the Goddess has used
to begin and organize this amazing opportunity, NC Pagans Outdoors events are the
communities’ events and that they should be designed by the community for the community.
